SUPER EASY Autumn Room Decor

Hello !

Today is the first day of Autumn ! I love Autumn so much and all the colours are beautiful.I also really love the first day that you realise that crisp, cold feeling in the air.I like to alternate my room decor at the different seasons, so I thought I would share with you some super duper quick and easy DIYS.Hope you enjoy !

Mini Leaf Garland 

For this craft, I folded a piece of paper into a little square and drew a leaf onto it.I cut around it and ended up with about 8 leaves (as I folded the paper).I coloured these leaves in with sharpie markers (but you can use crayons or whatever you like).It would also be nice to cover them in glue and sprinkle some red and orange and yellow shades of glitter over the top.I made a tiny hole in the leaf and threaded a piece of thin red sewing thread through to make the garland.This is so,so easy and looks really sweet.

I hung my garland across my mirror as you can see in the below picture.

Next, I went online and found a bunting shaped template with the letters of Autumn printed on them.This one is pretty self explanatory and I simply printed out the letters and sellotaped them to some subtle green thread before hanging across my wall.This is so simple and you can use Word/Publisher to make your bunting or font however you would like.

On my desk you can see a little jar filled with pine cones and pebbles.Again this is really self explanatory and all you need is an old jar/bowl/cup and fill it up with pebbles then place some pinecones on top.It really is that easy.You could also use conkers and acorns.This is such a simple DIY but it makes such a lovely feature on my desk and really makes my room have an autumnal vibe.

I have a feature shelf in my room where I display accessories and objects that I switch around depending on the season/time of year.I didn't even buy anything new for this, I just carefully looked at what things I have in my room and chose warm coloured shades and lots of browns and creams to go on display.I also scattered a few pinecones on each shelf.
