Ginger Bread House Building !!!!!!!!

I'm sorry for the lack of posts ! I've been unbelievably busy recently and couldn't wait for the holidays, I would of collapsed if the school term lasted any longer and I just couldn't find the time to sit down and write something quality.I would much rather post something of great quality that I loved writing and am proud of, than lots of lacklustre posts that I am not proud of.With that, MERRY CHRISTMAS OKOIHGYEDNSNIHHWSIHWIWHFQUK I hope you have had an amazing day with all your loved ones and had some nice prezzies ;)

This year, I really wanted to make a gingerbread house.I'd never made one before and they sold complete kits in Morrisons for only £5.00, so I decided to give it a go.

You get really easy to follow instructions and the pieces come ready cut to stick together with the thick icing-glue that comes with the kit.

The glue is applied to the edges of the pieces which are stood up inside the plastic tray the house comes in, to hold the shape whilst it dries.

After about 30 minutes, the house was stable and ready to decorate! I iced the roof and decorated with the sprinkles and buttons the kit came with, and also used some things of my own, such as maltesers and jelly orange slices. The kit also had some silvery/white sprinkles that I added to the roof, to look like 'snow'.I used little cubes of my own chocolate to make windows on the front of the house.

This was such a fun thing to make and considering I had never done one before, I thought I gave it quite a good shot! It also made a really nice christmassy decoration in our kitchen!

Merry Christmas !
Scarlett
