Ludlow !

So today I'm going to be visiting Ludlow with my family. Ludlow is a medieval market town in Shropshire and is a place we visit a lot.I had the idea to do a little 'follow me around' type blog post.Kind of like an online diary entry.I chose to do something a little different today and I hope you enjoy it ! :)

Today my outfit was :

The first place we stopped at was The Clive, a hotel and restaurant. It neighbours The Ludlow Food Centre and supports it by using its products.

My dad and I shared a pot of tea for 2 and I also had an orange and passionfruit J2O with my meal of battered cod, chips and mushy peas.

We then visited The Ludlow Food Centre Farm Shop & Deli.It was a beautiful place with amazing looking breads, meat, vegetables and sweets.I loved the wicker baskets that you can use instead of the standard supermarket baskets.

The displays inside the shop were stunning and there must of been hundreds of bottles and jars! The confectionery items were beautiful, especially the breathtaking meringues. There were whole boxes full of fresh fruit and veg, and a counter full of luxury drinks and juices.

Then, we went to the heart of Ludlow, Market Square.
The first place we went to in The Square, was a vintage flea market. There were lots of interesting old books, clothes and knick-knacks.

The town was full of life as it was a market day and there were rows and rows of fresh, locally sourced fruit and veg.

The flower stall was beautiful and definitely attracting the honey bees !

The castle was shut, but we were able to go in the tea rooms.

Harp Lane Deli is a lovely deli on The Square and we always take a look inside when we visit Ludlow.

I really hope you enjoyed this post! I had a great day in Ludlow and I hope you enjoyed reading about it! :)
